Ninth Wave was founded in 1995 by three ex-KPMG management consultants – Richard Meakin, Andrew Snowdon and Mark Slater.  We started out as a management consultancy specialising in IT and helping our customers to undertake and deliver large IT projects and programmes.  In 2001 we launched PAT (Project Assistant Toolkit) our first software product – which has since been re-branded as SmartCore.  Designed from the ground up as an enterprise solution, the success of SmartCore has consolidated and enhanced our position as one of the leading ‘home grown’ suppliers of project and programme management software in the UK.  Since March 2021 Ninth Wave has been an employee-owned business.

 

We have worked with a number of companies from banks and telecoms providers to legal firms and insurance brokers, implementing their project and portfolio management solutions on time and within budget.

SmartCore provides a tried and tested solution that can be rapidly configured to meet current and future requirements and is delivered and supported by a skilled and experienced team.  SmartCore may be installed in-house or hosted from Ninth Wave's own servers.

We have extensive knowledge and understanding of project management tools, programme management applications and resource management software which we have fully utilised in our design of SmartCore to enable our customers to pick a business software solution that truly suits their needs.
