Our team has a number of different Project Management and technical qualifications to ensure your SmartCore implementation is a success.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
We are here for the long haul and you can rely on Ninth Wave from start to finish with our complete offering of consultancy, software, development, implementation and hosting – all of which is delivered by our own, in-house, highly experienced and focused team, enabling us to provide a one-stop-shop for our customers. You will work with a team of two to three Ninth Wave Implementation Consultants who will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of your SmartCore solution with the aim of establishing and maintaining a close relationship and partnership with you over many years. We guarantee that you will know the faces behind the names at Ninth Wave.
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
While the plan details the steps of the project, the architecture and design provides the form, function and structure to organise it. Planning without design is like building a house without any architectural drawings. Ninth Wave provides architecture and design, for your solution, as a standard part of the implementation process. Detailing data structures, workflow processes and business rules, as necessary.
DATA LOADING
Your Ninth Wave Implementation Team will assist with data preparation, if required, and we are able to import data into SmartCore from a wide range of different sources – post-its and screenshots not included!
INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT
Ninth Wave servers are based at two secure (ISO 27001) data centres located in the UK that have been carefully selected for their security credentials and which act as disaster recovery sites for each other. In addition to the disaster recovery infrastructure, Ninth Wave has a range of business continuity measures in place to provide resilience and continuity to our internal systems and processes. We deal with maintaining and updating this infrastructure so that you don’t have to, and can rest assured that your data is safe and sound and available 99% of the time during working hours.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Ninth Wave’s Implementation Team has worked with many different organisations to understand their existing systems, processes and requirements. With a view to exceeding your expectations your Ninth Wave Implementation Lead Consultant will work in close collaboration with your team, stakeholders and users to ensure delivery of a successful solution that not only does what you want, but is implemented in a way that suits your needs.
INTEGRATION
SmartCore integrates seamlessly with legacy systems using its advanced API and provides multiple methods of interfacing with other applications. All integration requirements are managed by your Lead Implementation Consultant, which means that you only have to worry about dealing with IT geeks if you want to!
TRAINING
During the implementation process our Implementation Consultants will work closely with, and encourage skills transfer to, key members of your team, enabling them to become self-sufficient system administrators of your SmartCore solution. Any additional training is provided by your Ninth Wave Implementation Team – as no-one will know it as well as them – typically through a “train the trainer” process.
CORE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
In April 2020 Ninth Wave was proud and honoured to receive a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category as a result of our continuous innovation in core SmartCore functionality, which has been developed entirely by our own in-house team in the UK, whilst maintaining high performance and massive scalability. SmartCore is specifically designed to evolve as your business changes and development is often driven by our customers by listening to their feedback and taking on their ideas for new core functionality, which is provided free of charge as part of our support and maintenance agreements.
